Overview
Forte Charitable Foundation gives single-year grants of £2,000 to £10,000 to small local charities working in some of the most deprived parts of the UK. The money can go on core costs, salaries, running costs or a project, as long as the work focuses on community support. Your annual income must be no more than £250,000, and you can ask for up to half of the total cost. Your postcode needs to be in the most deprived 15% of urban areas, or the most deprived 50% of rural areas. You can check this with the eligibility quiz before you start. Single-year grants of £2,000 to £10,000 for core costs, salaries, running costs and project costs, for local charitable organisations focused on community support in areas of high deprivation anywhere in the UK. Your postcode must be in the most deprived 15% of areas on the Index of Multiple Deprivation if you are urban, or the most deprived 50% if you are rural. Your annual income must be £250,000 or less, you must be able to supply your latest annual accounts, and the grant can cover no more than half of the total cost of the work or of any one salary. The foundation runs its small grants as a rolling programme, and successful applicants can reapply for up to two further years. CICs, statutory bodies, hospices, adventure playgrounds, baby banks and disability charities cannot apply to this programme.
