Lancaster District CVS (Lancaster City Council) Grants

Lancaster Community Fund 2026/27

Lancaster District CVS (Lancaster City Council)

The Lancaster Community Fund offers grants of up to £1,000 to volunteer organisations in Lancaster District. Lancaster District CVS runs the fund with Lancaster City Council. It helps local charities and community groups deliver projects and activities that benefit local people. The fund has three main priorities. It backs projects that increase community involvement and build community wealth and resilience. It backs projects that contribute towards carbon reduction and a more sustainable district. It also backs projects that support individual and community wellbeing. The fund particularly welcomes applications for grassroots initiatives and for activities that will benefit disadvantaged areas of the community. It also welcomes organisations that have not recently received a grant from this fund. Round 2 of 2026/27 is open now. You must apply by 11:59pm on 1 November 2026. If you miss this round, the next one opens at 10am on 1 February 2027 and closes at 11:59pm on 28 February 2027. Eligibility and the guidance for applicants have changed for the 2026/27 year. The funder recommends that you read the guidance document carefully before you apply, even if you have applied before. If you have questions about the fund or how to complete your application, you can call Lancaster District CVS on 01524 555900. Official source: https://lancastercvs.org.uk/funding-opportunities/.
