Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council Grants

Rotherham Devolved Ward Budgets and Community Leadership Fund

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council

Rotherham Council gives ward councillors devolved budgets to spend in their local area. These ward budgets support the delivery of the priorities in each ward's plan, and you can apply for ward budget funding using the council's online form. The funding sits within the council's Thriving Neighbourhoods Strategy. The strategy aims to put communities at the heart of everything the council does. It does this through councillors working with their communities on what matters to them, listening and working together to make a difference, and supporting people from different backgrounds to get on well together. Each of the borough's 25 wards has a Ward Plan. Councillors develop it, and it sets out their priorities for the year ahead. Ward budgets support the delivery of those priorities. They also help create more chances for local residents to get involved. Before you apply, look at the priorities for your ward. The council publishes further information on these on its neighbourhoods page. The council has also prepared application guidance for ward budget funding, which provides useful information and further help. You apply using the council's online form, called Community and Neighbourhoods: Apply for devolved ward budget funding.
