Full details from Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council
Councillors in each of Rotherham's 25 wards hold devolved budgets to support the priorities in their Ward Plan. Community groups and organisations can apply to an individual councillor's Community Leadership Fund (revenue), the ward's Capital Budget (equipment, street furniture and other lasting assets) or the Ward Housing Budget (projects that directly benefit council tenants). There is no set minimum or maximum, other than the budget left in the ward. Funding cannot pay for borough-wide projects, individuals, retrospective or political activity, or anything that creates an ongoing funding commitment. Applications are accepted until 31 January 2028.
Check your ward's priorities on the council's neighbourhoods page, read the ward budget guidance, then complete the online 'Apply for devolved ward budget funding' form (or email neighbourhoods@rotherham.gov.uk). Name the councillor if applying to a Community Leadership Fund, and include a budget breakdown; single items over £10,000 need two quotes.
