The Hartlepool Board's first Pride in Place open call has up to £200,000 of capital funding for community led projects that improve Hartlepool. Proposals must fit one of two priorities: activating parks, public spaces and beaches, or improving community assets and neighbourhood spaces. There is no minimum or maximum grant; requests should be proportionate and good value. It funds capital costs such as building improvements, accessibility works, fixed equipment, play facilities and heritage repairs, not staffing, revenue or running costs. Priority goes to Mission Critical Neighbourhoods and areas of greatest need. Hartlepool Opportunities Partnership (HOP) can help develop proposals. The deadline is 5pm on Monday 30 November 2026.
