Full details from GrantScape (funded by Ørsted)
The Hornsea 3 Skills Fund sets aside up to £80,000 a year from Ørsted's Hornsea 3 Community Fund, run by GrantScape, for extra-curricular STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) education and training in the Skills Fund benefit area, between the north Norfolk coast and the line marked on the fund map (a different area from the main community fund). Experienced organisations can apply for £10,000 to £80,000 for projects lasting up to two years: supporting or expanding existing STEM projects and networks (such as festivals, engagement days or pop-up events), or new initiatives for any age from early years to higher education, such as wind turbine kits or resource packs for schools. Third sector organisations and experienced consultancies can apply. Organisations with a live grant from this fund cannot apply. The next round closes at midnight on 24 March 2027, with decisions by the end of May 2027.
Check your delivery area on the Skills Fund map on GrantScape's website (call GrantScape if unsure), then complete and submit the online application form before midnight on 24 March 2027. This date differs from the main Hornsea 3 Community Fund, and late applications are not considered. Decisions are announced by the end of May 2027. Questions go to GrantScape on 01908 247630 or info@grantscape.org.uk.
