Full details from Inspiring Scotland
Inspiring Scotland's Neighbourhood Ecosystem Fund helps grassroots community groups in Scotland develop local ecosystem restoration projects, focusing on design, planning and preparation. Themes include connecting nature corridors, habitat and species restoration, freshwater and wetland restoration, coastal and marine work, control of invasive non-native species and urban nature. Groups can apply for up to £13,500 for activities such as specialist consultancy, community activities, new posts, training placements and core costs, plus up to £1,500 of professional fundraising time to take the project further. The fund is open on a rolling basis with a two-stage process.
Submit the short expression of interest form linked on the Neighbourhood Ecosystem Fund page. You usually hear back in two to three weeks, and if selected you complete a full application; decisions are made every three months.
