This grant funds placements at international cultural institutions for researchers. You can get between £6,000 and £16,200 to cover your placement costs. You must be either a PhD student funded by AHRC or ESRC, or an early career researcher at a UK research organisation. The money helps pay for your international placement experience. Applications close on 19 March 2026. You need to be based at a UK research organisation that can receive UKRI funding.
