Full details from Kirby Laing Foundation (Laing Family Trusts)
The Kirby Laing Foundation, one of the Laing Family Trusts, makes grants for general charitable purposes through five funding streams: promoting the evangelical Christian faith (including theological training, faith projects for teens to people in their 30s, and English cathedrals); health and social care in ageing; developing talent in the performing arts for young people, especially from disadvantaged backgrounds; overseas development for women, girls and disabled people mainly in Nepal and Bangladesh; and science and engineering innovation through its Constructive Pioneers Initiative. Grants are rarely made for core costs, ongoing projects or individuals. Many awards are one off capital grants or project funding, sometimes over three years. Applications are accepted at any time. The amount is not stated.
