The Lawrence Fund supports disadvantaged people in North Cumbria who are studying horticulture or music. Priority goes to young talented musicians, music therapy projects, and gardening-for-health activities. Charities and individuals can both apply. Grants are normally up to £2,000 for one year. If you are an individual, your household income will be considered as part of the assessment.

Grants to support disadvantaged people in the study of horticulture or music, particularly those studying music therapy, and young musicians in North Cumbria. Donor Private individual Who can apply? • individuals • charitable, not-for-profit organisations Priority will be given to projects which: • support young talented musicians • include the study of music therapy • involve education in horticulture or gardening Examples of projects supported: • additional tuition costs for a talented young individual • music therapy classes for groups with dementia or mental health • concert costs for a community choir • gardening-for-health project by a charitable organisation How much can you apply for?
