Full details from Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council
The Lisburn and Castlereagh Community Bursary Scheme helps individuals who live in the council area, or are members of formally governed local community and voluntary groups, to access community development and education, sport, music, language and cultural opportunities. It can also help with the cost of representing the area in competitions at local, national and international level. Applicants can get up to 50% of the activity cost or £1,000, whichever is less, from a £20,000 fund, and only one application per person is considered in any 24-month period. Bursaries are awarded on merit, and the scheme is rolling within the financial year until the fund runs out.
