Full details from Riverside (with The Riverside Foundation)
Riverside, the housing association, has made £230,000 available through its Community Fund, with help from The Riverside Foundation, for projects that help people thrive in their homes and improve the quality of life of Riverside customers and the wider communities they live in. Projects must meet one or more of the Foundation's themes (opportunity, community and support), such as promoting opportunities and wellbeing and tackling poverty. Charities, not-for-profit organisations, clubs, constituted groups and informal groups can apply, particularly grassroots organisations with a local presence in Riverside neighbourhoods. Organisations working across a wider area can apply if they show an established local presence. At least 50% of beneficiaries must be Riverside residents. There are three application forms: micro projects (under £500), small grants (under £3,000) and large grants (over £3,000). The page gives no closing date. Residents on the Isle of Dogs may also be able to apply to a separate Community Chest programme.
Read the application guidance notes on Riverside's Community Fund page, choose the right form (micro project under £500, small grant under £3,000, or large grant over £3,000) and its step-by-step guide, then email the completed form to communities@riverside.org.uk. Contact the team first if you are unsure whether you are eligible.
