That includes landlords with property to let, right to manage and residents' management companies, freeholders of blocks of flats, charities that own or manage residential property, registered social housing providers, public sector organisations, property management companies and property factors in Scotland. The Cladding Safety Scheme pays to fix life safety fire risks linked to cladding on residential buildings over 11m in height. In London, it covers buildings of 11-18m. Homes England reviews applications to check they meet the legal criteria. It suits the person or organisation legally responsible for a building's external repairs, known as the Responsible Entity, or someone acting on their behalf. That includes private owners and social landlords such as registered providers and local authorities.
