Innovate UK is offering up to £33 million for quantum computing hardware research. You can apply for between £1 million and £3.5 million per project. The funding is for developing device-level hardware and software for universal fault tolerant quantum computers. This means building the physical components and programs needed to make large-scale quantum computers work reliably. Only businesses and organisations registered in the UK can apply. Projects must be based in England.

This grant is for UK registered businesses and organisations working on quantum computing hardware or software. You need to be developing technology that improves the scale, programmability, or performance of fault tolerant quantum computers. It is not suitable for businesses outside the quantum technology sector.
