Historic England offers funding to improve how historic monuments are managed or accessed. You can get between £100 and £30,000 through agreements with Historic England. These agreements last for three or five years. The funding can pay for one-off repairs to monuments. These repairs usually happen at the start of the agreement period. You must own or occupy land with historic monuments. Applications close on 1 April 2026.

This funding is for people who own or occupy land with historic monuments in England. You should apply if you want to improve how these monuments are managed or make them more accessible to the public.
Regions
We can offer funding to improve the management of monuments or access to them through agreements with the owner or occupier of the land. These agreements usually run for a term of three or five years. We can include payment for one-off repairs which would usually be carried out at the start of the term.
