Full details from Foundation Scotland (SP Energy Networks)

This fund is linked to the Stranoch Substation and 5.9km of overhead lines. Administered by Foundation Scotland and provided by SP Energy Networks, this Local Grants round supports projects located within or directly benefiting the New Luce community council area. The fund totals £1.71 million, with about £1.2 million available in this round. The next round is planned for late January 2027. Grants start at £20,001 and multi-year awards of up to two years are available; smaller requests of £1,000 to £20,000 go to the separate Grassroots Grants scheme run by Localgiving. Projects should fit one or more themes: financial resilience and educational inclusion; employability and skills; social and digital inclusion, health, wellbeing and active lifestyles; community facilities, spaces and buildings; green spaces and access to nature; and sustainable, inclusive transport. The fund can cover 100% of eligible costs, but projects must be ready to start within six months of an offer, and non-staff costs need three quotes. Applications close on 6 November 2026, with decisions expected in late January 2027.
