The TCV Chestnut Fund supports grassroots community groups delivering practical volunteering that improves the natural environment and connects people with green spaces. They are grants of last resort. Start-up grants of up to £200 help groups in their first year with admin costs such as insurance, publicity or room hire, and support grants of up to £500 help any group with little money for tools, equipment and training. Groups in their first year can apply for both. Groups must be members of the TCV Community Network before applying.
Join the TCV Community Network, then apply through the Community Network portal linked on the Chestnut Fund page.
