Sparks is a Wokingham Borough Council pot of money for people and small groups with good ideas that help adults who need extra support because of a disability, a health condition or caring responsibilities. You can ask for £100 to £2,000 to start a new group, hold events, run activities or offer a new service, covering things like refreshments, venue hire, advertising or equipment. Applications are open until 31 January 2027 but may close early as money is awarded as applications arrive. A panel of local people scores eligible ideas after a friendly chat, and money must be spent by 31 March 2027.
