Belfast City Council's Summer Scheme Grant helps local community groups run a summer scheme for children and young people aged 5 to 14 during July and August 2027. Schemes must last at least 10 days and be age appropriate, taking into account the range of abilities, needs and interests of the children taking part. Awards are up to £2,500 per organisation, scored on evidence of need, the outcome that children and young people build positive relationships and develop skills and confidence, the scheme's capacity, experience, planning, evaluation and value for money. Applications close at 12 noon on 8 January 2027.
