Blaby District Council Community Grants

Grants of up to £5,000 from Blaby District Council for community groups, sports clubs and charities to improve facilities or run activities. There are five types: Capital Green for eco friendly projects and Large Capital for building work or equipment (both up to £5,000, with 20% or 50% match funding), and Small Capital, Revenue and Everyone Active health and wellbeing grants of up to £500 with no match funding needed. Constituted groups, charities, social enterprises and some school fundraising and faith groups can apply, usually once every two years. There are four rounds a year and the following deadline is 5 March 2027. Applications must arrive by 5pm. Applications close on 4 December 2026.
