Overview

Grants to organisations for initiatives that reduce poverty, improve health, tackle social inequality, and help people reach their potential, or for projects that nurture a sense of place or promote climate action in Cumbria. Donor Cumbrian Newspapers Limited Who can apply? • charitable, not-for-profit organisations Examples of projects supported: • improvements to community hall • furniture for community centre • cleaning system for community swimming pool • wages for activity coordinator • improvements to children’s play area • creative music project for people with disabilities What the fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions: • individuals How much can you apply for? Grants will normally be up to £2,000 over one year.
