Overview
The UK Human Functional Genomics Initiative (FGx), with MRC, offers Academic and Industry Partnership awards through its Innovation and Collaboration fund. They aim to build links between industry partners and FGx. Awards of £15,000 to £100,000 can pay for feasibility, pilot or initial studies that test ideas and produce early data, which could support competitive collaborative grant proposals for longer-term projects. Projects must start within three months of being awarded. You must be a researcher eligible for MRC funding based at a UK research organisation, collaborating with an industry partner. You do not need to be MRC-funded. Applications close at 11:59pm UK time on 1 November 2026.
