Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund (Greater Manchester)

Grants of £250 to £5,000 from the Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund for charities and community groups delivering projects that benefit local people in Greater Manchester, with most awards around £2,500. The fund backs projects for disadvantaged groups, older and vulnerable people, young people and education, community connection and local heritage, usually for specific activities, equipment or one off costs. It does not fund individuals, running costs or salaries, general appeals or the same organisation twice within three years. A regional panel meets quarterly and new applicants get priority. There is no fixed deadline, so you can apply at any time while funds last.
