Ealing Council's Better Spaces fund (previously the community climate grants) gives community and faith groups grants of up to £10,000 to make their buildings cheaper to run, warmer in winter, cooler in summer and better able to cope with extreme weather. Examples include shutters and awnings, solar panels, double glazing or insulation, LED lighting, heat pumps and solar window film. A record £100,000 is available in this round. Grants go to organisations that meet the scheme criteria, with priority for groups in Northolt, Southall and Greenford if the fund is oversubscribed. Applications are open from 22 September to 15 November 2026.
