Full details from East Renfrewshire Climate Action Hub (Voluntary Action East Renfrewshire)
East Renfrewshire Climate Action Hub, hosted by Voluntary Action East Renfrewshire and funded by the Scottish Government, is giving out a £10,000 small grants fund to help local community groups and third sector organisations start their climate action journey. Grants are up to £500 for community groups and organisations, up to £150 for schools and nurseries, and up to £1,000 for previously funded groups expanding their project. Projects should raise awareness of climate action, encourage reuse and recycling, help communities adapt to climate change, cut emissions, or protect and increase local biodiversity. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with decisions within about 7 working days, and the fund closes when the money is allocated. Projects must finish by 31 March 2027.
Join the East Renfrewshire Climate Action Hub, read the small grants guidance and apply using the online (or offline) form linked at the end of it. Offline forms go to hello@eastrenclimatehub.org.uk with your accounts and governing documents.
