Full details from London Borough of Hillingdon

Hillingdon Council's Chrysalis programme funds one off capital improvements to council owned assets that benefit the local community, such as refurbishing community buildings, playgrounds and outdoor gyms, energy efficiency measures, allotments, and town centre and parade improvements that reduce flooding or encourage walking and cycling. Proposals should be for at least £5,000 and usually no more than £100,000, with larger exceptional proposals considered if they contribute strongly to the council's 2030 carbon neutral goal. They must not create ongoing costs for the council and cannot fund events, activities, furniture or equipment. If a suggestion is taken up, the council either delivers the project or issues the funding as a grant. Suggestions can be made at any time.

How to apply

Submit a Chrysalis suggestion from the Chrysalis page on Hillingdon Council's website, or email chrysalis@hillingdon.gov.uk. Successful projects are chosen by the Cabinet Member for Community and Environment.
