Full details from GrantScape (funded by Ørsted)

The Hornsea 3 Legacy Fund, part of Ørsted's Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm commitment and run by GrantScape, awards a single £100,000 grant each year to a flagship capital project that is 'Inspired by Green'. Projects must be community buildings and facilities (village halls, community and sports centres, museums, heritage centres) or environmental and open space projects, and show how they reduce their environmental impact. Total project cost must be at least £100,000 and no more than £1 million, the project should start within six months and finish within 24 months, and successful groups cannot reapply for two years. Groups can also apply to the Hornsea 3 Community Fund for the same project as a fallback. The 2026 round closes at midnight on 2 December 2026, with decisions by early March 2027.
