Overview
Northern Impact Fund 2 from Key Fund offers £5,000 to £150,000 of finance for social enterprises that want to grow their trading. Part can be a grant, up to 20%, and the rest is a loan. It can pay for cash flow, working capital, buying and developing assets, and growth work such as website improvement and marketing. It is for organisations in the North of England and the Midlands. You need clear social aims and to be not for private profit, asset locked, or limited in how you share profits. Because most of it is repayable, have a realistic plan showing how your trading income will cover repayments before you apply. Full details from Key Fund
Northern Impact Fund 2 is finance to help social enterprises and community organisations develop or grow their trading, including cash flow, working capital and buying or developing assets. Key Fund invests in community and social enterprises in the North of England and the Midlands, and lists website improvement and marketing among the things its finance can support. Investments run from £5,000 to £150,000 over 1 to 5 years. There are three options: up to 20% as a grant with 6.5% interest on the rest, up to 12% as a grant with 4% interest, or a Shariah-compliant option with no interest. Arrangement fees apply. This is mainly a loan, so you need to be able to repay it from your income.
