Little Hulton and Walkden Community Grant

Salford City Council offers funding for community groups in Little Hulton and Walkden. You can get up to £500 for one-off events. Groups can apply twice per calendar year. The council will also consider commissioning services for key community priorities. They may fund salary costs for specific activities but not general operational costs. You need proper governance with at least two unrelated people as signatories on your bank account. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Funding for community benefit projects addressing five priority issues: children and young people, crime and disorder, environmental improvements, older people, and community cohesion and social inclusion. Priority given to local applications benefiting Claremont, Weaste or Seedley residents.
