Funding of up to £2,500 through the Newcastle-under-Lyme Community Fund, where each of the 44 borough councillors has £2,500 a year from 2026/27 to help residents and organisations deliver one off projects, events and activities that improve the wellbeing of their ward. Examples include Christmas trees and lights, toys or equipment for playgroups and nurseries, outings for older people and the renovation of local landmarks. Contact the borough councillor you want support from first. If they back the project they will provide an application form, and requests are checked by council officers each month. Retrospective costs cannot be funded. There is no fixed deadline, so you can apply at any time while funds last.
