Soay Solar and Greener Grid Park Community Fund

Grants of £500 to £10,000 from Statkraft's Soay Solar and Greener Grid Park Community Fund, run by GrantScape, for community and environmental projects in or benefiting the East Riding parishes of Allerthorpe, Thornton, Melbourne, Barmby Moor and Bielby. Priority goes to carbon reduction and net zero projects such as building energy audits, insulation, solar panels and heating upgrades, net zero education, habitat work and EV charge points. Voluntary and community groups, charities, community councils, not-for-profit social enterprises and CICs, and schools for activity beyond the curriculum can apply. Bids over £5,000 need at least 20% match funding, which can be in kind. Decisions are due by mid-June 2027. Applications close on 14 April 2027 (midnight).
