Regions
Full details from Ulster Garden Villages (UGV)
Ulster Garden Villages (UGV) supports charities whose work benefits people in Northern Ireland, with grants from £750 up to, in exceptional cases, £1,000,000 depending on the project, its impact and the charity's size; loans may also be offered. For the next 12 months its priorities are poverty, homelessness, health and wellbeing, and community resilience and cohesion. UGV prefers to fund alongside other funders and is unlikely to cover full project costs, and projects should start within six months of an offer. The two-stage process starts with an Expression of Interest (EOI), open from 2 November to 30 November 2026; EOI decisions are due on 18 December, full applications run from 1 to 31 January 2027, and final decisions are due by 26 March 2027.
Read UGV's Guidelines for Applicants, take the eligibility quiz, then book a meeting with the UGV team (EOIs are not accepted without one). If eligible you get a link to register on the UGV Application System and submit the online EOI by 30 November 2026. Successful EOIs are invited to a full application from 1 to 31 January 2027.
