Overview
This fund from the British Film Institute helps UK producers work as partners on international co-productions and create new global projects. It gives non-recoupable grants of up to £300,000. It suits independent UK producers with demonstrable production experience. You can apply for feature film co-productions, including animation and documentary, in any genre and any language. In these, the UK producer must be a minority co-producing partner. That means at least one other partner contributes more than you do. You can also apply for television co-productions, but only in animation or documentary, in any language. These need at least two broadcasters contributing to the finance plan for minority UK co-productions, or three for majority UK co-productions.
