Grant Deadlines This Month: UK Funds Closing Soon
UK grant deadlines this month for charities, community groups, CICs and small businesses, each checked on the funder's own page. Refreshed every month.
A missed deadline is the most painful way to lose a grant. This page lists UK funds closing this month that we have checked on each funder's own website, with who can apply and how much is on offer. We refresh it on the first working day of every month.
Last checked: 26 October 2026, for deadlines in November 2026. Every date and amount below was checked on the funder's own page.
How we check these deadlines
GrantMatch tracks over a thousand live UK grants, and dozens close each month. Here we pick funds open to a wide range of organisations or a large area, then confirm the closing date, time and amount on the funder's site. If a funder's page doesn't state a date, we leave the fund out.
Deadlines usually fall at a set time, often midday or 5pm, not midnight. Aim to submit at least a day early, because online forms tend to slow down near the close.

Your project must sit within 10 miles of an eligible FCC Environment waste site. The current round closes at 5pm on 18 November, and the board decides about 16 weeks after a round closes.
LGBT+ Fund Youth Joy Fund offers £5,000 to £25,000 for projects, trips and activities that bring joy and belonging to LGBT+ young people. You must be an England-based non-profit organisation or youth group with at least two years of youth work and existing LGBT+ youth provision. It closes at 12pm on 18 November. The fund expects to be oversubscribed, with roughly one in five applications successful, and decisions by the end of March 2027.

Legally constituted organisations can ask for up to £25,000 and informally constituted groups for up to £10,000. The first step is an expression of interest, due by midnight on 22 November.
Pilkington Charities Fund offers up to £20,000 for project or core costs to organisations helping people in Merseyside affected by poverty, old age or ill health. Rolling funds you can apply to any time
Not every grant has a deadline. Some of the largest UK funders accept applications all year, which takes the pressure off if nothing above fits. Our guide to core costs funding covers several rolling funders that pay for salaries and running costs.
Planning ahead: next month
If one of the funds above is too tight for you this month, check whether it runs regular rounds. FCC, for example, runs four rounds a year, so missing one is not the end of the road. Our weekly roundup of new UK grants this week picks up new rounds as they open, and you can browse all open grants by sector and area.
Questions people ask
What happens if I miss a grant deadline? Most funders won't accept late applications. Check whether the fund runs again; many run yearly or several times a year, and an early start next time often makes for a stronger bid.
Are deadlines the same for every part of an application? Not always. Some funds, like the Duchy Health Charity's, have a short expression of interest first, with a later deadline for invited full applications.
Why isn't a fund I know about on this list? We only include funds whose closing date we could confirm on the funder's own page this month. You can search every open grant on GrantMatch, including local ones.
