Catalyst Funding is the project and festival strand of Aberdeen City Council's Culture Investment Programme, which replaced the council's earlier arts and culture grants. It offers £5,000 to £15,000 for high quality creative and cultural activity for Aberdeen residents, including new or one off ambitious cultural projects, testing new activity (even within a recurring festival), pilots and new collaborations, work that keeps Aberdeen based artists and producers in the city, and activity reflecting the city's diversity or reaching its most disadvantaged areas. Awards are expected from April 2027, subject to the council's 2027/28 budget. Applications close at 12 noon on Monday 9 November 2026.
