Full details from Belfast City Council
Belfast City Council's Good Relations Grant funds projects that reflect the Together: Building a United Community strategy. Projects must link to at least one outcome: improving attitudes among children and young people, creating shared and open spaces, building a safe community, or promoting the positive expression of cultural heritage and identity. Awards are up to £5,000 per organisation in each financial year, for projects between 1 April 2027 and 31 March 2028. Schools may be considered where there is a clear community need. The council asks groups to talk to the Good Relations Unit before applying. Applications close at 12 noon on 8 January 2027.
Read the guidance notes, then register and apply on the Belfast City Council Online Funding Hub (grants.belfastcity.gov.uk) by 12 noon on Friday 8 January 2027. An information session runs at City Hall on Monday 23 November, and the Central Grants Unit (cgugrants@belfastcity.gov.uk) can advise.
