The Circular Bio-Based Europe programme funds projects that develop innovative bio-based solutions. The largest projects can receive up to €20 million (around £17 million). This is part of a European initiative to create sustainable alternatives to traditional materials and processes. Projects must focus on bio-based innovation and sustainability. The deadline for applications is 22 September 2026. You need to develop solutions using biological materials or processes. This could include new materials, chemicals, or products made from renewable biological resources. The funding comes through Innovate UK Business Connect.
