Full details from East Hampshire District Council
Each East Hampshire District Councillor has £7,000 a year to give to voluntary and not-for-profit organisations working in, or benefiting, their ward. Groups can receive up to £2,000 per councillor and can apply to more than one councillor whose ward the project covers. The scheme helps voluntary groups, parish councils, schools and community clubs run projects that strengthen communities and bring people together; in 2025 to 2026 it backed more than 260 projects. Applications are accepted until the councillor's budget is spent, and the scheme closes on Friday 26 February 2027. You must talk to your district councillor before applying, as grants are at their discretion.
Contact your District Councillor to discuss the project and get their support, read the 2026 to 2027 criteria and guidance, then apply online through the East Hampshire District Council portal (you will need an account) by 26 February 2027.
