Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland Community FLEX Programme

Community FLEX is the Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland's main rolling programme of 12-month grants (average award about £5,500) for registered charities with an income of £500,000 or less and at least one year of annual returns on the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland website. Charities must support people in greatest need, such as people living in poverty, unemployed people, and people with disabilities or mental ill health. Priority goes to charities whose core mission or project targets a vulnerable group. The foundation funds social and community welfare, such as family centres, youth and older people's clubs, advice services and support for disabled people, and is flexible if costs change during the grant. You can apply at any time, though the programme may close later in the year once the budget is allocated.
