The Heritage Revival Fund helps communities rescue and repurpose neglected historic buildings in England. You can get between £5,000 and £350,000 to take ownership of heritage buildings and transform them into useful community spaces. The fund supports community organisations to adapt and reuse local heritage assets that matter to them. This could include converting old buildings into community centres, arts spaces, or other facilities your community needs. The programme is delivered by the Architectural Heritage Fund with government backing. Applications close on 1 April 2026. The fund is part of a wider £270 million government investment in arts and culture.

The Heritage Revival Fund has been created to help communities across England rescue and repurpose neglected historic buildings. This new programme is being delivered by the Architectural Heritage Fund in partnership with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Historic England, and forms part of the government’s wider £270 million investment in arts and culture.
