Full details from Kent County Council

Kent County Council's Combined Members Grant lets each county councillor award £3,600 a year to community projects in their area, with funding split equally across Kent's 12 districts. Grants can pay for local events and activities, equipment and furniture, promotional materials, marketing and training, websites, small pilot projects, community safety schemes, sports projects and mentoring to help groups become more sustainable. Properly constituted groups with a bank account can apply; schools and faith groups must show wider community benefit. Grants are one-off and awarded throughout the financial year until the money is spent.

How to apply

Contact your local county councillor first, then email Members.Desk@kent.gov.uk for an application form. Kent confirms receipt within two weeks, and a cabinet member approves agreed grants.
