Veterans' Foundation Small Grants

Overview

The Veterans' Foundation Small Grants programme gives grants of £500 to £5,000 to organisations that support serving and former members of the Armed Forces community, operational qualified seafarers and their immediate families. It is a rolling programme with no closing date, so you can apply when you are ready. The foundation says it will look at the project or items you want funded, the number of people who will benefit, the need and impact for the Armed Forces community, and your organisation's governance and financial need. You apply through an online portal. You start with the eligibility checker. If you are eligible, the portal takes you to the right form. Read the Small Grant guidance and the What We Will Not Fund document first, so you know what the foundation will and will not support. Timing rules matter. You can submit no more than one application per quarter. The quarters run from 1 January to 31 March, 1 April to 30 June, 1 July to 30 September and 1 October to 31 December. If you already hold an award, you can apply again six months after the award date. If an application is unsuccessful, you can reapply three months after you are told the decision.
