Full details from North Yorkshire Council
Funding of up to £5,000 through North Yorkshire Council's councillor locality budgets, where each councillor has £5,000 a year to recommend small amounts for activities that promote the social, economic or environmental wellbeing of the communities they represent. Recent awards have gone to village halls, parish councils, schools, sports clubs, luncheon groups, festivals and Christmas lights. It is not an open grants programme: community groups and organisations should contact their local North Yorkshire councillor, who decides whether to recommend support from their budget. Approved allocations are published on the council website. There is no fixed deadline, so you can apply at any time while funds last.
Find your local councillor on the North Yorkshire Council website and ask them to recommend support from their locality budget.
