The Torbay Baton of Hope Legacy Fund, run by Torbay Communities with support from Torbay Council Public Health, offers grants of up to £1,000 for community led initiatives that help prevent suicide, improve mental wellbeing and build more connected, resilient communities in Torbay. Ideas could include peer support groups, projects tackling loneliness and isolation, support for people affected by trauma or adverse childhood experiences, outreach to underserved communities, and awareness and resilience activities. Projects that match the One Devon Suicide Prevention Plan score more highly and must be completed by 30 September 2027. Applications close at 12 noon on 11 November 2026, with decisions by 4 December.
