Full details from Ashford Borough Council
Each Ashford Borough councillor has £3,000 a year (April to March) to support local community projects and services in their ward. Grants start at £100 and can pay for venue hire or equipment, covering project costs for up to a year; examples include a primary school activity or a local sports club. You must agree your project with your ward councillor first; they then send you the form, sign it and pass it on. The council aims to pay within 15 working days of a complete form. Nothing already delivered or spent can be funded.
Contact your Ashford Borough councillor to discuss your project. If they agree to fund it, they send you an application form; complete it and return it to them to sign and forward to the council's Funding and Partnerships Officer.
