Deadline: 6 November 2026
Overview
Ethicronics, supported by Innovate UK Business Connect, is looking for innovators to develop a reusable testing tool. The tool must apply controlled physical and cyber-physical interference to protected electronic components. It needs to measure and record how well those components resist tampering during transit and storage. This is a specific technical challenge, not a general grant. If you can build repeatable, quantitative tamper-resilience testing systems, this could be for you. The deadline to apply is 6 November 2026.
Requirements to check
Who can apply:
Key requirements:
- Must develop a reusable test capability for tamper resilience
- Solution must apply controlled physical and cyber-physical interference to protected electronic assets
- Must enable repeatable, quantitative assessment of tamper resilience during transit and storage
- Must capture reliable ground truth data
This summary may not include every exclusion. Check the full eligibility rules, including who and what the funder will not support.
This is for businesses or innovators who can develop advanced testing systems for physical and cyber-physical security in electronics. You should have expertise in tamper detection, hardware security, or defence electronics testing. It is not for general technology businesses or those without relevant technical capability in this area.
